About the Provider
Dr. Vaghaiwalla is a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon with specialty training in the management of adult and pediatric endocrine disorders, which includes benign and cancerous disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas and intestine. Dr. Vaghaiwalla completed general surgery residency at the University of Miami and subsequently completed endocrine surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She offers scarless approaches to thyroid and parathyroid surgery using the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA). Dr. Vaghaiwalla is an active member in professional societies, including the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, and American College of Surgeons. She has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of endocrine and surgery.

Dr. Vaghaiwalla Is the best! She’s kind, caring, great listener, courteous and a great surgeon. I had parathyroid gland surgery and it was a huge success. I feel 100% better. Her staff and the surgical staff are the best as well. I had the best care and appreciate the way they cared for me.

I could not be more grateful or impressed with Dr.Vaghaiwalla. She is an exceptional, extraordinarily knowledgeable, thorough, and confident — yet at the same time deeply humane and compassionate. She took her time with me, answered every single question with clarity and patience, and made me feel truly seen and cared for during a very difficult moment. Knowing that she will be performing my thyroid cancer surgery in January gives me tremendous peace of mind.
